Kennebec River Rafting

The Kennebec River is Maine's most popular whitewater rafting trip and one of the finest stretches of whitewater in the country. With beautiful scenery, wildlife, and heart-pumping whitewater, the Kennebec River is one of the nation's classic whitewater adventures. Experience whitewater rafting in Maine at its best. High-volume water with dam-controlled flows means reliable water flows and fun for the whole family. No experience necessary. Dam-controlled flows from May through October at 4800 cfs. We also have four 8000 cfs turbine test water releases for the biggest water you can find on the East Coast. Step it up a notch and "Run the Gauntlet": This is a chance to raft the Upper Kennebec Gorge twice. We are the only outfitter in the industry to offer this exciting and unique experience. There are Class I through Class IV+ rapids. It feels like you are riding a huge rollercoaster down the river. The Kennebec River rafting trip is sure to be fun for all. All of our Kennebec River whitewater rafting trips meet at our North Maine Woods Basecamp at Historic Pittston Farm.
