Overnight Trips on the Kennebec River
East Outlet of the Kennebec River Overnight Trip
Let Northeast Guide Service take you into the deep woods of Maine on an overnight trip including kayaking, fishing, and whitewater rafting. The East Outlet of the Kennebec River originates in Maine's largest lake, Moosehead. There is a short stretch of rapids that are great for kayaking and fishing, and then the Kennebec opens up into beautiful Indian Pond. Remote wilderness campsites are found on the banks of Indian Pond, where you'll eat dinner prepared by our Registered Maine Guides and spend the night. Wake in the morning to the sound of loons and the smell of breakfast, then go rafting on the Kennebec River rollercoaster of waves. We provide all the equipment, meals, and Registered Maine Guides for your trip. This is a great guided overnight trip for families, youth groups, corporate retreats, and scouts looking for a rafting, kayaking, and fishing adventure in Maine. All of our East Outlet of the Kennebec River guided overnight trips meet at our North Maine Woods Basecamp at Historic Pittston Farm.

The East Outlet of the Kennebec River overnight trip is perfect for combining a whitewater rafting trip with an inflatable kayak or fishing trip, on a overnight camping adventure in Maine. We set off from the put-in and whitewater kayak or kayak-fish down the East Outlet of the Kennebec River, enjoying some of Maine's best fishing or instead kayaking through the Class II whitewater rapids in your very own inflatable kayak. After we enter Indian Pond we motor to our beautiful remote campsite, eat meals prepared by our Registered Maine Guides, and fall asleep under the stars to the sounds of loons. Awake to the smell of breakfast, a beautiful sunrise, and a Class IV whitewater rafting adventure on the mighty Kennebec River. It doesn't get any better than this. Join Northeast Guide Service for an guided outdoor adventure in the woods of Maine.
